Chocolate Biscuit Cake

A Delicious Summer Dessert

When the days are hot, as they are at the moment, the last thing you want to do is put the oven on. Good news! We have the most delicious, no bake chocolate dessert that can feed a crowd! You can find most of the ingredients right here at The Bee's Knees. What could be better than Cadbury Crunchies, Digestive Biscuits, Golden Syrup and chocolate? This would be fabulous for your July 4th gatherings.
Many thanks to Becks of @thehousebuild on Instagram for this amazingly good dessert recipe. She has one of my favorite Instagram accounts to follow.

Ingredients
200g Digestives crushed
185g butter
250g dark chocolate
250g milk chocolate
180g golden syrup
230g Crunchies diced up

Topping
200g milk chocolate melted
2 Crunchies crushed

Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate gently on the cooktop until smooth. Don’t over heat or it will split. In a separate bowl add the crushed digestives and Crunchies and tip over the melted chocolate mixture. Mix and pop into a lined 9x9” tin. Top with melted chocolate and the remaining Crunchie bits and set in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Run a sharp knife under boiling water and slice up the cake into squares. Putting the knife under boiling water helps it cut through the chocolate topping without cracking it. Works a treat. Will keep in an airtight container for 4-5 days although we doubt very much it will last that long.

Enjoy!
